Where to Find Us

The Regina Windy Flyers have one of the best facilities in the praries for flying model aircraft. Our field is called Kings Park Model Airport, it is the Home of the Regina Windy Flyers and our main flying site. The flying site is about 12 Kms North East of Regina, located near Kings Park Speedway and the Murray Golf Course. We have a great grass field as well as paved runways. Spectators are always welcome to come out and watch members flying, so if you are interested in the hobby or just want to enjoy an afternoon come on out watch some flying and talk to some of the club members.

Directions

The following are directions to find our flying site. There are many ways to get there; below we have given three main routes.

Heading North on McDonald Street you will pass the Regina oil upgrader and the road will curve to the right and head East. From the Ring Road overpass this should be 6 Kms. Now you will turn Left and continue 3.3 Kms to the North, you will pass the Tor Hill Golf Course. The road will switch from pavement to gravel shortly before the intersection. At the intersection you want to turn right (East) and continue1.6 Kms. You will pass Kings Park Speedway almost after turning and come to Murray Golf course clubhouse at the end of the 1.6 Kms. At this intersection you want to turn left (North) and continue a short .25 Kms to our gate.
